A well regarded, Legal 500 ranked firm based in Surrey are currently seeking a Family Solicitor to join their leading Family team.

About the Role:

  • As a Senior Family Solicitor at this firm, you will lead and manage complex family law cases, provide expert legal advice, and mentor junior solicitors. Your role will involve handling high-net-worth and intricate family law matters, such as divorce settlements, child custody disputes, and domestic violence issues. You will play a crucial part in shaping the direction of our family law practice while contributing to our firm's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of complex family law matters with expertise and diligence.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solicitors and support staff.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored legal solutions.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the family law department.
  • Engage in business development activities to enhance the practice and expand our client base.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and internal policies, managing risk effectively.

Key Requirements:

  • Solid experience in family law, with a proven track record in handling complex and high-value cases.
  • Relevant professional qualifications and accreditations (e., Resolution, Law Society Family Law Panel).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing and mentoring a legal team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.
  • A proactive approach to business development and strategic planning.
