As a Residential Childcare Worker, your role includes:

• Building trusting relationships with children
• Ensuring their safety and creating structured routines
• Organizing recreational and educational activities
• Supporting educational progress and personal development
• Collaborating with team members and external agencies
• Keeping accurate records and following all childcare regulations

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience in a care setting with young people
• Knowledge of cognitive behavioral approaches, attachment theory, and child protection policies
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• PVG registration and a full driving license
