Overview

As a Senior Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of a combination of DB, DC, and Hybrid pension schemes in accordance with our client's requirements and to the desired standards and deadlines. You will handle sophisticated queries, perform manual calculations, and ensure accurate work allocation. Experience with Defined Contribution (DC) schemes and progression with PMI qualifications is desirable.


How you'll make an impact

  • Carry out sophisticated pension administration tasks and calculations accurately and in accordance with internal processes and company policies.
  • Attend Trustee and ad hoc client meetings, including new business presentations as the need arises.
  • Manage pensioner payrolls, pension increases, and ensure timely notification of the lifetime allowance used to pensioners.
  • Assist team members and provide support to the Principal Administrator.
  • Manage investment of contributions.
  • Supervise transactional activity for Tariff and Fixed fee clients and provide regular financial information to the billing manager for accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Manage unit reconciliations and lifestyle switches.

About You

  • Strong experience working with different occupational pension schemes (DB, DC, CARE, Hybrid)
  • QPA or PMI qualified, or willing to study towards relevant qualifications.
  • Proven experience in carrying out sophisticated manual pension calculations.
  • Ability to process, collect, and input data and information accurately.
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines and disclosure requirements.
  • Proficient in using Office Systems, such as Microsoft Office for word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentations.
  • Good understanding of various codes of professional ethics and standards as promulgated by the PMI.
  • Right to work in the UK.
