Youll manage our housing management remit, driving performance across rented and leasehold properties, while ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding customer service. Typical day as Operations Manager

• Collaborating with the Senior Operations Manager and fellow Operations Managers to meet regional targets and ensure smooth service delivery across Yorkshire.
• Leading the Housing Managers to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Monitoring and improving operational performance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across rented and leasehold services.
• Using your people management skills to motivate, support, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Balancing resources and workflows to achieve targets and contractual compliance, while maintaining Home Groups core values of care, inclusivity, and integrity.
• Travelling regionally (and occasionally nationally) to meet teams, attend meetings, and collaborate with colleagues, while ensuring effective local leadership.

You have

• Proven experience in housing management with a solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements. You will have excellentleadership skills, with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop a high-performing team while driving service improvements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts in a positive way.
• Experience of managing performance, resources, and workflows to achieve service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with the flexibility to travel regionally as needed.

• Fixed Term Contract - 6-month duration
• Full time, 37.5 hours per week
• Hybrid working based in our office in Leeds
• Monday Friday 9-5pm
• Regional travel required, with flexibility to attend important life appointments through Home Groups flexible working approach.
