Hydraulic/Mechanical Component Technician
Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated technician to join our team, specialising in the disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of hydraulic and mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down hydraulic and mechanical components to their individual parts.
- Conduct thorough inspections, including:
- Interpreting technical data.
- Diagnosing faults.
- Identifying wear, damage, or corrosion on components.
- Using precise calibrated measuring tools.
- Completing computer-generated documentation accurately.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
- Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow detailed compliance manuals.
- Capability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
- Effective teamwork in cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent analytical, administrative, and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and self-motivated.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45
- Friday: 08:00 - 15:45
