Are you a strategic thinker with a proven track record in supplier management within the insurance industry? Acumen Claims Limited is looking for a dynamic Network and Supplier Manager to oversee our supply chain operations.

Location: Hybrid, with frequent travel including to our HQ in Nottinghamshire

Salary: £40-45k plus £5k car allowance

Role Overview: As a Network and Supplier Manager, you will manage all aspects of our supply chain, including restoration and repair contractors, contents suppliers, alternative accommodation suppliers, and other specialist suppliers. Your strategic thinking and energy will drive our procurement processes and supplier loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage relationships with Acumen suppliers, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and performance standards.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
• Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.
• Travel frequently to meet with suppliers and stakeholders, including regular visits to Acumen HQ in Nottinghamshire.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of managing suppliers preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with supply chain management software and tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently as required.
