Commercial Finance Manager - FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and hands-on Commercial Finance Manager to join a leading business based in Hertfordshire on an initial nine month FTC. Leading a small team, the Commercial Finance Manager will collaborate with senior leaders across the business to set clear targets to support ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leadership to drive performance across various areas (Product/Channel/Marketing), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide insightful commentary and analysis on weekly and monthly trading performance, highlighting risks and opportunities for executive and board updates.
• Lead financial planning for new projects and business growth initiatives, ensuring optimal revenue, cost assumptions, and EBITDA maximisation.
• Ensure smooth coordination across broader finance teams for accurate reporting and optimization of overlapping initiatives.
• Manage the budget and quarterly reforecast process, delivering concise summaries to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on a wide range of ad hoc queries to support business partners.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner in developing new products and strategies, ensuring objectives are achieved.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant.
• Advanced Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills.
• Commercial awareness with an ability to influence decision-making.
• Strong presentation skills and experience in stakeholder management.
