Commercial Solicitor - Senior Associate - Exeter

What will you do?

• Start up a new commercial team (with existing work to inherit & corporate colleagues to support you)
• Advise on non-contentious commercial work to include:
• Commercial agreements, partnership/joint venture/outsourcing arrangements
• Supply agreements, T&Cs, distribution agreements, franchise agreements
• The client base is already broad to include startups, family businesses, SMEs, large corporates & household names
• Advise clients nationally (& internationally) alongside colleagues from other offices
• Be involved in business development (of both new & existing clients)
• Liaise closely with other departments including competition, employment, tax & IP

What will you need?

• To be a qualified solicitor or legal executive
• At least 5 years PQE within commercial law
• No following is required for this role
• To be an entrepreneurial character able to bring ideas to the table for discussion
• To want to build out a commercial team around yourself (as appropriate and when you are ready)
