About the role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Manager to join our Central Firmwide Business Partnering team as the Finance MI & Reporting Lead. In this strategic role, you will be the primary specialist, collaborating with the Business Partnering team to provide focused reporting expertise that supports the firm's financial strategy.

As the owner of their team's Management Information and Reporting strategy, this role reports directly to the Finance Director, as well as acting as a direct link to the firm's Planning & Reporting Centre of Excellence, which provides enhanced reporting expertise and solutions at a firmwide level.

The individual will work closely with this team, and the other MI & Reporting Leads, to synergise and guide the firmwide approach to reporting. The individual in this role should be able to draw upon technical knowledge and commercial insights, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, to drive, influence and challenge the business to achieve short and long term financial objectives.

What your days will look like:
  • Lead the Finance MI & Reporting team to deliver high-quality reporting, drive continuous improvement and foster excellent working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Planning & Reporting Centre of Excellence and other MI & Reporting Leads to discuss and implement improvements such as standardisation, automation, self-service uptake, consolidation, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Firmwide Finance Director to ensure the high-quality design and delivery of MI to UK leadership.
  • Lead the Finance AI agenda for Firmwide Business Partnering, focusing on machine learning and Gen AI. Drive the adoption of AI tools, working on PoCs through to implementation, refining decision-making processes, governance, and fostering innovation.


This role is for you if:
  • Experience with data presentation software/products including Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to develop a deep business understanding.
  • Understands and applies principles of data to reporting, such as quality, model, confidentiality, definition, and management.
  • Highly analytical individual with strong problem-solving skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience embedding technology and automation to drive efficiency and consistency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management information and reporting.
  • Must possess a relevant finance qualification such as ACCA or CIMA or an international equivalent.
