School Finance Manager | Secondary School | Kensington | £45,000 to £50,000

Join a Secondary School based in West London as their new School Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity if you are an experienced finance candidate looking to lead a small finance team.

Within this role you will:

• Report to the Head and Chief Financial Officer to help with sound financial decision making


• Manage the income and expenditure of the school, to provide insightful reporting and analysis for the Senior Leadership Team


• Set and control budgets, manage and appraise the procurement of services, suppliers and products for the school


• Ensure various annual reporting deadlines are met and manage the ESFA and HMRC statutory returns

About You:

• You are either formally qualified or actively studying a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA CIPFA or equivalent)


• You have previous experience operating at a similar level within schools or any other educational sector


• You have experience with managing and controlling budgets, IT and reporting
