Job Description

Finance Business Partner, Hospitality Group, London, £60,000 DOE

From budgeting and forecasting to performance analysis and decision support, the Finance Business Partner will be committed to empowering your team to make data-driven decisions that elevate both guest satisfaction and financial performance.


Hospitality and multisite experience are necessary, ideally in hotels.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Review draft management accounts, provide commentary for variances to the Finance Director and review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy.
  • Costs and revenues reflected in the right place & periods.
  • Purchasing, payroll, and stock accurate and completed to best practice.
  • Building strong productive working relationships with Operations, Sales, Procurement etc that help deliver financial results.
  • Preparation of accurate forecasts & budgets per the best available info.
  • Preparation of accurate flash forecasts.
  • Quarterly Forecasting and analysis budgets/forecasts/actuals.
  • Manage the fixed asset registers.
  • Analyse financial trends with weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Creating and managing KPI reports (for the company).
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including assisting with the year-end audit.
  • Maintain contracts with suppliers, making sure all income is calculated and accounted for accurately/timely.
  • Analysing the financial performance of franchisees and giving recommendations to the Finance Director.


The successful candidate:


  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) preferred, or near qualified as a minimum.
  • Proven track record in the hospitality/hotel industry.
  • Highly analytical; Advanced knowledge of Excel; Excellent oral and presentation skills
  • Analytical, creative thinker, who is detail oriented.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Able to build and draw upon strong business partner relationships.
