We are an independent creative agency based just south of Nottingham in the East Midlands. We specialise in creating physical and digital experiences for retailers and brand owners that translate into measurable commercial results.

Once again we’re growing and expanding our team and are looking for a senior client manager to join us, supporting a key client. This is an exciting opportunity to be working with our client, bringing your enthusiasm, energy and expertise in creating all-channel campaigns in a fast paced environment, underpinned by impeccable project management skills.

You'll have a collaborative approach in your relationships with our client, other agency partners and within our own team, working hand in hand with creatives to deliver brilliantly briefed work that is professionally managed throughout. We have a 'one team' approach that values everyone's input to achieve the best results for our clients, so you will have a voice and be welcome to use it!

You will be responsible for managing the full marketing mix that includes TV, film and radio, print and OOH and all paid, earned and owned social channels, managing projects through production to delivery.

Your previous experience in client engagement will be critical to success in the role as will your ability to drive the commercial agenda with clarity and transparency to ensure our client is fully aware of the impact of the work we’re doing and its potential to drive their business success.

Skills and Experience needed

Ideally, we’re looking for 5+ years’ experience working in marketing focussed account management role either agency or client side. Experience of retail or retail clients, advertising and digital marketing would be an advantage together with a honed experience of the production process.

A capable and well organised project manager who can work calmly and with good humour under pressure and at pace, with proven project management experience across the full marketing mix.

You should understand the creative process and have the ability to manage multi- platform creative through the studio.

The ability to develop presentations and deliver them with engagement and empathy is an important skill that speaks to our ethos of developing a strong working partnership with clients.

So, on a personal level we need confidence and self-assurance from the successful candidate together with effective communication and listening skills. Your positive approach and ability to seek and spot opportunities and then take them will be welcomed as will your ability to work effectively as part of the wider True Story team at this important stage of our growth journey.
