The Role

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing sophisticated sub-assemblies, ensuring that tools and products meet stringent quality and performance standards. You'll collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to uphold and enhance production processes, driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Precision Assembly: Execute assembly tasks such as soldering and wiring in accordance with IPC standards, while meticulously kitting assemblies as per the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain exceptional cleanliness in both production and cleanroom environments, adhering to high standards to ensure product integrity.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the refinement of manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.

What’s Required?

  • The ideal candidate for the role will have the following:An educational qualification (e.g., HND) or higher in a relevant discipline such as Electro-mechanical assembly
  • Strong experience in a Manufacturing Technician role
  • Experience in building and testing complex high-technology products
  • Knowledge of optical systems, including lasers and fibres, electronics, and electro-mechanics would be highly beneficial
