Role: Customs Clerk - Multimodal
Location: West MidlandsSalary: £28,000 - £32,000

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completions of Customs Documentation from Start to Finish - Import & Export
  
• Confident on dealing with Multimodal Customs
  
• Liaising with shippers, hauliers, carriers. Ensuring all requirements are met in the timeframe set
  
• Understanding all customs documentation including specific custom related keywords
  
• Creating and maintaining strong relationship with clients, ensuring all inquries are dealt with

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working with a leading freight forwarder
• Awareness of all aspects of customs process from Start to Finish
  
• Can collaborate with the customer to provide the best service available
  
• Able to reach all deadlines within the time constraints provided
• Confident and effective communication skills (verbal and via email), with the ability to build relationships with customers
