Key Responsibilities: Scheduling of Loads: Plan and schedule loads efficiently to meet customer demands. Transport Planning: Coordinate with transporters to book trucks, ensuring the best rates and truck availability. Customer/Supplier Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and effective execution of orders. Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations to ensure accurate records of transactions and shipments. SAP Utilization: Utilize SAP for tracking and managing logistics operations (SAP experience is advantageous). Data Management: Maintain and manage records using Excel, ensuring data accuracy and availability. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field. Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential; SAP knowledge is advantageous. Attributes: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work long hours when necessary.
