Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate and timely reconciliations of accounts to ensure all financial transactions are recorded correctly. Manage and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Prepare and process journal entries, maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing analysis and insight to support financial decision-making. Prepare financial statements. Handle SARS VAT submissions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4-5 years proven experience in accounting, preferably within the FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of SARS VAT TAX regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
