Financial Manager

A manufacturing company is currently looking for a Financial Manager to join their financial team. The Finance Manager's core duties include to ensure the provision of valid, accurate, and comprehensive financial accounting records. Oversee the financial administration department, including banking facilities, payments, and submission of returns. Develop and enforce compliance with policies, processes, and regulations. As a Financial Manager you will responsible for the following: Duties: Financial Reporting: Oversee the Creditors team, which handles creditor account reconciliations, invoice verification, and query resolution. Manage payment processes, including requisitions and bank transactions, and create new vendors. Ensure accurate inventory control and financial reporting, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, and management accounts. Handle VAT, payroll accounting, and taxation, as well as labor-related costs for projects. Address financial system errors and enhancements with the service provider. Financial Operations: Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes, and account statements accurately. Assist with cash flow forecasting. Manage banking facilities and oversee collection and payment processes. File VAT returns and payroll taxes monthly. Oversee CAPEX processes and prepare statutory returns as needed. Governance and Controls: Maintain and file source documents according to financial and audit standards. Oversee the year-end audit, liaising with auditors and handling audit requests. Prepare documentation and reports for SARS audits. Ensure compliance with group, entity, and regulatory regulations, processes, and policies. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed BCom in Financial Accounting / CIMA Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in a similar position Manufacturing industry experience is preferred If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
