Business Analyst (FTC 3 months)

A multinational conglomerate seeks an experienced and analytical Business Analyst to spearhead a reporting project within their group. The position will be on a project basis and office-based at the SA Head Office in Johannesburg East. The purpose of this role is to lead analysis across business systems, as well as form part of dashboard creation for the group. A portion of this will be done through automation and a portion through manual completion. Duties include, but are not limited to: Ensure business needs and requirements are understood Apply strategic thinking in how to provide the best solutions Provide business process design and documentation expertise, recommending business process and/or system improvements Identify business problems/opportunities and define the most suitable approach to ensure that recommendations fit with strategic business objectives Identify and manage any risks Attend to project, system or business assessments Maintain traceability between requirements and ERP implementation Manage development of ERP and BI Tools Assist Group Finance with financial reporting and IT Audit requirements Education: BCom degree in Information or Business Systems essential Tertiary qualification / course in finance related field highly advantageous Job Experience & Skills Required: 5 to 7 years' experience in a business analysis role essential Solid understanding of bridging the gap between finance and business systems Successful track record of building accurate and efficient reporting dashboards for group (financial modeling) Understanding of BI Tools essential Strong analytical skills Strong presentation and communication skills Strong business partnering skills Business and financial acumen Meticulous attention to detail APPLY NOW If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
