Junior Accountant

Duties: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Analyze financial reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Prepare and submit VAT/GST, income tax, and other tax returns. Stay updated on tax laws and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Assist with tax audits and queries from tax authorities. Develop and implement financial controls to safeguard company assets. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Requirements: BCom in Accounting or a related field. 0-5 years of experience in accounting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in-office every day.
