Electrical Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to join a renowned manufacturer based in the Western Cape. To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Electrician Trade Test, a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 5 years experience in a similar role. Experience with PLC programming and instrumentation, such as heating controllers, is essential. You must be in possession of a valid drivers license and reliable transport. Your duties will include scheduled and preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. You will be expected to read and interpret drawings and schematics and replace and repair electrical wiring as needed. Showcase your fault finding skills when you test and diagnose equipment, components and systems for any malfunctions and to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
