Junior Aviation Safety Officer

In response to the growing need for effective aviation safety management, we are looking for motivated and qualified individuals to work as a Junior Aviation Safety Officer. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting the Deployment Manager to ensure and enhance aviation safety at our deployment facilities, playing a key role in risk management and safety communication. Education: Grade 12 Job Experience & Skills Required: No prior experience required Radio license (restricted or general) essential Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Understanding of Aviation Safety and Rules of the Air Key Responsibilities: Identify and Report Safety Risks: Detect and report safety hazards promptly for resolution. Promote Aviation Safety Culture: Cultivate and reinforce a strong safety culture among team members. Assist Deployment Manager: Document and report safety hazards during ground and flight operations. Provide briefings on safety issues to flight and ground crews. Implement Safety Procedures: Execute safety procedures as directed and maintain their effectiveness. Provide Progress Updates: Offer feedback on the effectiveness of safety measures to the Deployment Manager. Support External Pilot: Assist with safety measures at remote stations and communicate imminent hazards.
