Compliance Advisory Director (Quant Hedge Fund)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with management and business units to interpret intricate regulations pertaining to the firm’s trading activities in Fixed Income, Commodities, and FX.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and promptly communicate any changes to the management team.
• Develop and maintain effective compliance strategies, implementing programs that align with these strategies.
• Provide recommendations for enhancements to the global compliance framework as needed.
• Manage the onboarding process for new joiners, including setting up compliance systems and conducting induction training.

Skills required:

• Over 10 years of relevant compliance experience, and out of which more than 5 years in Compliance Advisory
• Strong products knowledge, ideally within FICC
• Strong communicator, proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese would be ideal
• Detailed oriented, able to multitask effectively and has strong project management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
