Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking

Job Description

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessment for new and existing clients
• Prepare and present credit proposals to the credit committee for approval
• Perform due diligence checks on new to bank clients
• Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, operations, and product specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of banking services to clients
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' businesses
• Participate in the development and implementation of marketing and business development strategies
• Monitor and manage the performance of the client portfolio, including regular reviews and reporting

Job Requirements

• Degree Holder
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in corporate banking
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products - ideally bilateral loans and syndication participation
• Strong credit analysis and cash flow projections
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
