Operations Executive - Reconciliation and Support

This is a newly created position in the Operations department and you will have the opportunity to work and develop in a fun and dynamic team.

What you will be doing

• Performing daily trades, cash and positions reconciliation against internal records across global markets
• Taking ownership of daily breaks by conducting investigation on differences, and monitoring through timely resolution with internal parties (e.g. processing teams) and external parties (e.g. agents/custodian)
• Liaising internally with the other operation teams to investigate and resolve daily breaks
• Conducting process reviews to come up with process improvements/system automation initiatives on reconciliation process
• Managing the static data setup and reference data in the system
• Maintaining & document reconciliation process procedures

Who we need

We are looking for someone who has 1 to 2 years of experience in a reconciliation for a brokerage firm back office/bank operations environment, and is familiar with equities, fixed income and derivative products.

The ideal candidate should be someone who is analytical in nature, has strong problem solving skills and shows initiative. He/she should also be open minded with a positive attitude, being flexible and also willing to learn and be utilized in all areas of operation. Proficiency in English & Chinese is also a must to communicate with our global counterparts.
