This role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors.
Keppel Credit Fund Management Pte Ltd. (Keppel Credit") is a c.US$850 million AUM CMS-licensed private credit fund manager headquartered in Singapore. It is wholly owned by Keppel Ltd. and part of the Keppel Fund Management & Investment (FM&I") division.
Keppel Credit invests in private credit, including senior/junior debt, mezzanine and structured equity transactions. As an intermediate provider of funding (in between bank debt and equity), it seeks to be a long-term investment partner for companies operating in the infrastructure and real asset sectors. Keppel Credit is currently seeking a highly motivated Intern to join the team on a 3-6 month basis.
This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit team in a dynamic and fast-growing investment platform. While primarily focused on investments, the candidate will also be involved in all aspects of the fund's activities and the entire investment cycle, including portfolio management, ESG management, fund-raising and business development. The candidate is also expected to work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and various functional teams to support the business.
Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes.
The intern will be responsible in the following:
• Perform investment due diligence including, but not limited to, financial and business analysis, financial modelling, transaction structuring, ESG analysis, macroeconomic and industry research on prospective investments.
• Perform various tasks related to portfolio management & monitoring, fund marketing efforts, and assist with preparation of external investor communication materials and responses to investor requests.
• Prepare internal investment committee memos, market research, monitoring current investments, and new deal origination
• Work closely with the Legal, Risk & Compliance, Finance and Treasury functions as appropriate for all ancillary activities in support of the lending business, such as KYC, risk analysis, funding arrangements, financial forecasts etc.

• Gain a deeper understanding of the entire capital spectrum ranging from senior debt to straight equity and the role of private credit/mezzanine instruments in a company's capital structure.
• Develop a greater appreciation of the investment due diligence process

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job requirements:\n• Pursuing an academic degree in a relevant field of study such as business management, finance or accounting etc.\n• Good practical knowledge of finance and investment concepts, including equity analysis, credit risk analysis, financial modelling, valuation etc.\n• Past internship experience in related fields such as investment banking, leveraged finance, project finance, structured finance and/or private equity would be a plus.\n• Proficiency in financial modelling would be a plus\n• Ability to work effectively in a collegial, collaborative, fast-paced and high-growth environment\n• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills\n• Good team player with a strong initiative and the ability to perform with minimal supervision and within tight timeframes.
