Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Accountant in Bakersfield, CA!

The Administrative Assistant will work with the Office Administrator on day-to-day tasks which include the normal operations of our office. Daily interaction with our members and prospective members is routine. A successful candidate will have an outgoing, friendly personality. Our office at times can be a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones; direct phone calls

  • Interact with members and retirees

  • Take member's dues cash or check payments

  • Process new member paperwork

  • Process applications for new membership and apprentices

  • Assist Office Administrator

  • Any other task or training associated with the operations of the office

Qualifications:

  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks

  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and be able to work independently

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in an office environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluent in Spanish
