Job Description
Title: Scrum Master
Location: Hybrid, Chicago, IL.
Duration: 3 month contract to start (Likely to extend)
Compensation: $50 – 55 per hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
The Scrum Master is a Pod (Product oriented design) member responsible for guiding the team in Agile best practices, helping to remove impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, continuous flow of value, and consistent quality. Duties include: implementing product management/best practices, introducing agile engineering practices, coaching team members, hosting scrum and PI ceremonies/events, assisting product owners with backlog and roadmap management, removing roadblocks, creating transparency, supporting governance and reporting, resolving conflicts, promoting a lean-agile mindset and exhibiting leadership behavior by safeguarding adoption of Scrum practices and principles.
Expectation for individual to be on-site three days a week. Typically this falls on Tuesday to Thursday.
Project Leadership -> Agile/SDLC Project Management
Consulting agility beyond pure Scrum Master. Ability (if needed) to support Scrum Team product owners as a BA, and Project Manager aligned to Scrum Team.
