Assistant Manager

My client a beautiful gastro pub with rooms is currently looking for an Assistant General Manager to lead the front of house team.

This award-winning family and dog friendly pub just a stones throw from the River Thames was recently taken over by three local families and has undergone a huge renovation project. The contemporary and stylish interior now welcomes locals, dog walkers, hungry Thames-path walkers and those from further afield.

They serve the best of local produce, from farm-fresh Oxfordshire food to local craft beer, fine wine and Henley Distilled Gins. Outside is an enclosed garden area for alfresco dining and a purpose built outdoor bar, perfect for spring and summer lunches and dinners in the Oxfordshire sunshine

This is a very hands on role they are looking for someone with pub experience and skilled at managing staff and training staff, also someone with good customer service experience and dealing face to face with the customers. They also have 4 stunning rooms so the Assistant Manager will also be responsible for the room bookings and making sure guests are comfortable.

The salary for theis role is £35k but is negotiable for the right candidate. They do also offer live in accomodation.
