A leading environmental services consultancy are looking to recruit an Arboriculture Consultant as they embark on a new recruitment drive. This is an exciting opportunity as it will be a crucial role within the business supporting a variety of organisations and projects within the private sector for all arboriculture matters.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• National Diploma in Arboriculture, degree or equivalent qualification.
• Comprehensive understanding and identification of tree defects and diseases.
• Knowledge of Tree Preservation Orders and UK Planning Legislation
• Knowledge of BS 5837 – Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition and Construction
• Full UK driving licence
• A sound knowledge of visual tree and hedgerow assessment and experience in the preparation and delivery of baseline condition assessments,
• Conducting tree surveys
• Preparing tenders at the outset of the projects
• Supporting clients providing specialist advice on tree related issues
