Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the management of financial risks. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the business, such as evaluation of potential alliances, investments, and asset acquisition. Support the company's asset development and production initiatives by conducting thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential mining assets. Collaborate with investment teams to assess financial viability and provide expert advice on investment opportunities within the commodities market. Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections. Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Provide advisory and support services to trading partners, leveraging expertise to enhance their financial performance. Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a recognized professional body. A minimum of [Insert Years] years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the commodities trading or mining sector. Strong understanding of IFRS and relevant financial regulations. Proven track record in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
