Lead Application Engineer

1. Understand the project requirement and scope after going to technical specification. 2. Provide appropriate solution to customer as per requirement using JCI product portfolio. 3. Validates assumptions made during solution design. Builds a detailed cost estimate and scope of work for assigned projects. 4. Conducts detailed review of specifications, understands the specified requirements as well as system concepts. 5. Select HVAC equipment (such as AHUs, FCUs, CRAC, Fans and Air cooled Chillers) and applies it correctly. 6. Understands competitive products and the advantages JCI portfolio offers and develops alternatives and optional offers that best serves the intent and positions JCI advantageously. 7. Assists in preparing customer communication documents such as quotations, summary and details product compliance statements. 8. Performs detailed engineering or financial analysis to quantify cost savings or other customer benefits. 9. Providing optimized solution with accuracy within stipulated time. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: 1) Ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations with sense of urgency and even increase expectations. 2) Initiative/ Execution/ Innovation - Ability to take actions, decision & to generate ideas, products, process in promised timely manner: involvement in designs or other work requiring creative imagination 3) Ability to set goals in consistency with company objectives and to adapt plans to changing environment
