Structural Engineer

You calculate in detail the strength and stability of steel structures and related detail connections according to the standards and proprietary objectives. Additionally, during assembly work, you must calculate the stability of the structures. For the calculations, you determine and collect basic data such as loads, plans, calculation methods, and schedules. You obtain a cost-efficient and economical product for the drawing office, production, and assembly. You create lifting and handling instructions. If technical problems are identified by the drawing office or Project Manager, you solve them, always taking into account norms, regulations, and standards. You respect the planning and report any problems in a timely manner. You hold a Master's degree in Construction Engineering and preferably have initial experience in a similar position. You possess technical knowledge of materials. You are well-versed in the theory of strength. You are thoroughly familiar with various European standards; for example, the EN 1993 series holds no secrets for you. You are acquainted with DNV GL standards and understand FEM models. You have experience with software packages such as SCIA Engineer, ANSYS, and/or AutoCAD 2D/3D. You have a proficient command of English. You can work autonomously as well as in a team.
