Position Overview: This position is responsible for supporting Human Resources for the Family Church Network, especially Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Christian Academies.
Reports To: Director Human Resources
Prerequisites
- Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
- Affirm the Family Church Network statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite, expert on Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience recruiting and hiring employees.
- Experience with Human Resource information systems, ADP preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including ADA and FMLA preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred.
- Ability to manage priorities and ability to lead with empathy.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
- Develop relationships with hiring managers and their business needs.
- Conduct pre-screen interviews with applicants.
- Recommend qualified candidates to the hiring manager and manage the interview process.
- Maintain and audit Human Resources data.
- Represent Family Church and Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Christian Academies at local Job Fairs.
- Create and post open positions on Family Church Career Center.
- Offer positions to qualified candidates and manage their onboarding.
- Maintain communication with new employees through their onboarding process.
- Support payroll practices, including earnings, deductions, and taxes.
- Support time and attendance plans.
- Support benefits administration.
- Create reports and analyses with Human Resources data.
