Position Overview: This position is responsible for supporting Human Resources for the Family Church Network, especially Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Christian Academies.


Reports To: Director Human Resources


Prerequisites

  • Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
  • Affirm the Family Church Network statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite, expert on Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience recruiting and hiring employees.
  • Experience with Human Resource information systems, ADP preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including ADA and FMLA preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred.
  • Ability to manage priorities and ability to lead with empathy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop relationships with hiring managers and their business needs.
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews with applicants.
  • Recommend qualified candidates to the hiring manager and manage the interview process.
  • Maintain and audit Human Resources data.
  • Represent Family Church and Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Christian Academies at local Job Fairs.
  • Create and post open positions on Family Church Career Center.
  • Offer positions to qualified candidates and manage their onboarding.
  • Maintain communication with new employees through their onboarding process.
  • Support payroll practices, including earnings, deductions, and taxes.
  • Support time and attendance plans.
  • Support benefits administration.
  • Create reports and analyses with Human Resources data.
