Job Summary: |
Oversees and coordinates productions and daily assembly activities. Coordinates and implements organization’s policies and initiatives. |

Knowledge of:
- Possess a working knowledge of Medical and Industrial Assembly and Testing, materials, quality programs, safety programs and managing resources.
- Understands basic production planning and inventory concepts.
- Robust safety programs.
- Capable of driving positive change in all aspects of assembly operations by using continuous improvement tools and methodologies, teamwork and shop floor metrics, to include quality, cost, delivery, safety and housekeeping.
- Measuring devices such as micrometers, thread gages, etc.
- Progressive disciplinary processes
- ISO 9001 Quality Standards
Skills/Ability to:
- Effectively communicate with assembly personnel as well as plant management. Bilingual (speech and written) in Spanish and English preferred.
- Read and understand blueprints preferred.
- Measure and gage parts using industry standard tools such as micrometers, plug and thread gages, etc.
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Work with manufacturing engineering to identify, develop, and implement process improvements.
- Ability to perform basic math skills in all units of measure.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to generate production related reports.
- Desire and ability to train new and existing employees to written assembly procedures.
- Intermediate skills of Microsoft Excel, Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of ADP is a big plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish will set candidate apart from others.
