Finisher

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for performing critical post-production inspection steps to ensure product accuracy and safety.
• Inspect machined parts to ensure client’s compliance.
• Grind, buff and polish pieces while maintaining accuracy.
• Identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in finishing
• Basic computer knowledge

• Ability to do simple math calculations
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and blue prints.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and fill in required quality forms.
• Ability to read and properly use measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gages, and other inspection devices as needed
• High School Diploma or GED required
