Job Description

About the role:

  • VPS4 - $92,332 - $104,762 + 11.5% Super + VPS benefits

How you'll make a difference:

The Video Producer contributes to developing high-quality creative content across the Department of Health. You will create and develop high-quality video and photographic content for customer stories, internal communications, external social videos, marketing videos, social media, recruiting videos, corporate training and other department-wide projects.

Your creative content will be clear, engaging, timely, and aligned with the department's digital strategy and strategic plan, and you'll deliver multiple priority projects concurrently, working closely with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to support the delivery of wider communications and stakeholder engagement objectives.

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Scope, plan, develop and manage production of departmental digital media outputs, including video, graphics
    and photography, undertaking local and regional travel.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of scripts, project concepts, and other materials.
  • Seek opportunities to engage stakeholders in the development and application of new and/or contemporary methodologies to improve communications services.
  • Produce and develop engaging video content for use across department social media and digital channels in accordance with content strategy / editorial plans.
