We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee our security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and enforcing security policies, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, and leading a team of security professionals. Job Responsibilities

- Oversee the security team to ensure the protection of company property, employees, and visitors.
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the premises to identify security risks and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate with management to define security requirements and plan security operations accordingly.
- Train security personnel on proper security measures, emergency response procedures, and the use of security equipment.
- Manage the scheduling and deployment of security staff to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a swift and professional manner, leading the security team as necessary.
- Liaise with law enforcement and other external agencies when required.
- Maintain a detailed log of all security incidents and prepare reports for management.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and ensure that all security systems, such as alarms and access controls, are functioning properly.
- Handle the resolution of security-related issues with a focus on minimizing impact and preventing recurrence.
- Perform background checks and oversee the hiring and training of new security personnel.
- Manage budgets related to security operations and ensure the cost-effective acquisition of security resources.
- Enforce disciplinary measures and recommend commendations for security staff performance as appropriate.
- Stay abreast of current security trends and emerging threats and update security protocols accordingly.




Job Requirements:

-Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar management role

- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and procedures

- Proficiency in security management systems and surveillance equipment

- Ability to design and implement comprehensive security strategies

- Familiarity with report writing and documentation for security incidents

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Capable of operating under pressure and in emergency situations

- Physical fitness to undertake frequent patrols and respond to incidents

- Understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

- Working knowledge of MS Office or similar software

- Valid security guard license or certification

- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security administration or similar field is an advantage
