Job Summary:


The Branch Manager is a P&L leader overseeing the staff and day-to-day operations at our Anaheim branch location and Victorville production facility, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales, operational, and profitability goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, and training of all branch personnel including service and installation technicians, fabrication team members, and support staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluation process that increases individual and team performance, builds bench strength, and retains top talent.
  • Communicates effectively in individual and group settings, providing regular coaching and feedback to build a high-performance team.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Works with the Regional Manager to develop the annual branch budget and leads overall branch execution to achieve the sales and profitability targets.
  • Supports driving the commercial process for profitable growth of new equipment and crane services including inspections, maintenance, installation, repairs, modifications, and upgrades to meet customer needs.
  • Oversees the new equipment fabrication and field servicing of equipment, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Reviews job execution process to ensure financial goals are met and customer satisfaction achieved.
  • Leads by example to ensure a healthy and safe working culture is achieved, as well as compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Creates a high-performance culture through servant leadership and relentlessly driving continuous improvement throughout the entire organization.
  • Delivers reports to executive team members as requested.
  • Supervises equipment purchase and maintenance.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.
  • Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs.
  • Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Adept at analyzing and explaining a manufacturing and service P&L.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience:

  • 5 years P&L leadership in industrial manufacturing / fabrication and field service.
  • Operational, and field service leadership experience.
  • Experience with $1M+ custom engineered projects.
  • Sales and sales leadership is beneficial.
  • Crane experience is beneficial, but not required.
