If yes, QualiTech is looking for a Human Resource (HR) Business Partner to join our growing team in Chaska, MN. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for the end-to- end process of the employment related activities. To include but not limited to; full cycle recruiting, employee relations, training, benefits, leave coordination, performance management, employee development and development of company policies and practices.
Position Summary:
In collaboration with the Human Resource Department this position will work with teams and people leaders across all divisions and facilities to help build organization and people capability by implementing effective employment activities within the organization. This role will work closely with managers and employees providing hands-on and strategic input, insight, and advice on people-related issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Employee Relations and HR Business Partnering
  • Staying up to date on HR trends and best practices as well as employment laws and regulations
  • Writing and revising HR policies to ensure alignment with company strategies and goals
  • Provides support and direction to managers with employee relations issues, leaves of absence, work restrictions, retention initiatives, interpretation and application of policy
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with people leaders to ensure HR alignment
  • Assists in developing and implementing employee recognition and retention programs. Helps to foster a company environment of positive employee morale
  • Maintains HR metrics
  • Provides data for wage surveys and maintains database of benchmarked job descriptions
  • Manage Unemployment Claims
Talent Management
  • Full-cycle recruiting includes job posting, screening, interview coordination, background checks and on-boarding and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Works with managers on corrective action issues, support documentation and communication
  • Works with managers on performance management and individual development plans
  • Schedules and conducts exit interviews for voluntary terminations
Benefits

Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below for this position are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related generalist level work experience including employee relations and recruiting
  • Experience in a multishift manufacturing environment, preferably a regulated industry
  • PHR/SPHR a plus
Knowledge and Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Project management skills to direct HR initiatives
  • Time management skills to meet key deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills to find solutions for organizational problems
  • Written communication skills to produce job descriptions, policies and other documents
  • Understanding of HR best practices and relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Computer skills to use word processing, spreadsheet, email, HR and presentation software
  • Must be able work with and maintain sensitive/confidential information
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed


Compensation details: 80000-100000 Hourly Wage
