We are hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading logistics company in Skelmersdale.
Positions: Adhoc and ongoing
Role: As part of our logistics team, you will handle local and distance work to RDCs across the UK. This role involves driving HGV Class 1 vehicles with curtainsided trailers for trunking, without loading/unloading, but includes strapping and securing loads.
Shifts Available:
Days 0600 - 0900
Afternoons: 1400 1600
Nights: 0000 0400
Tramping Days
Pay Rates:
Monday - Friday Nights: £15p/h (PAYE) or £17.90p/h (PAYE Rolled up)
Monday - Friday: £14p/h (PAYE) or £16.80p/h (PAYE Rolled up)
Saturday: £16.50p/h (PAYE) or £19p/h (PAYE Rolled up)
Sunday: £18.50p/h (PAYE) or £21p/h (PAYE Rolled up)
Responsibilities:
Complete daily vehicle checks
Manage driving hours
Ensure load security
Requirements:
Must be 25 and over (for insurance purposes)
HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 experience
No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
Experience with curtainsided trailers
