As our Inventory Manager, you'll be the control center for all inventoried parts used for building Matec Equipment, from vendor-purchased items to in-house and outsourced custom-machined parts. In this visible position, you will collaborate with all business areas to ensure the smooth flow of operations by optimizing inventory levels, maximizing efficiency, and minimizing waste.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Partnering with purchasing to ensure proper levels of inventory
• Getting parts to Operations exactly when they need them
• Overseeing raw materials and minimizing waste
• Leading the inventory move to a brand-new secure location
• Establish and implement a comprehensive inventory management system to streamline operations for our small manufacturing company of complex ultrasonic testing systems.
• Develop and implement clear, consistent processes and procedures for all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, issuing, and record-keeping. Your ability to think systematically and establish structure will be key to success.

• Develop and maintain accurate inventory records for all components, parts, and finished ultrasonic testing systems.
• Track inventory levels and identify potential stockouts to prevent production disruptions. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing runs smoothly.

Qualifications for Success

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience plus associate’s degree in supply chain management and business administration.
• The ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Required)
• Experience with ERP/Inventory Management system
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Interest in Engineered Equipment and the desire to become familiar with the parts and their use.
