New Job Opportunity_Building Fabric Technician Your new company We are the UK’s leading facilities management and professional services company, and our clients range from household names in banking, critical government sites as well as hospitals and schools. Your new role Repairs and maintenance to building fabric. Minor repair and maintenance of tiling, walls and ceiling. Remedial minor building works following PPM activities completed by other service lines. Fire Door inspections and repairs. Painting and decorating projects (as and when required). Flooring repair and new installations. Basic plumbing repairs. Basic plastering. Stock management of site consumables. Relocation or removal of furniture. Hosting of subcontractors. Flexibility to work out of hours and at weekends. What you'll need to succeed Qualified to a C&G or NVQ in a fabric trade like tiling, roofing, etc. Previous experience of working as a fabric technician. Strong customer service experience. Ability to be proactive and identify opportunities. Experience of PDA or IPAD technology for reporting and completion of jobs is essential, as this forms part of the process to complete and sign off each job.
