Part Time Bookkeeper

Part Time Bookkeeper Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm (25 – 30 hours over 3 or 4 full days per week, with the flexibility to set your working days in agreement with your supervisor) Salary: up to £26,000 per annum pro rata (£13.00 an hour) Benefits: Hybrid working after training, 21 days holiday bank holidays, 50% paid cover on private medical insurance, yearly bonus scheme – depending on company performance and team social events. What you’ll do: Managing client bookkeeping records Processing sales and purchase invoices Conducting bank reconciliations Preparing and submitting VAT returns Responding to client queries in a timely manner Collaborating closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate financial reporting What we are looking for: Experience with Xero & Sage is advantageous, but we provide comprehensive training Candidates should be currently studying towards at least AAT Level 3 and AAT Level 2 may be considered for an exceptional applicant Previous experience in a practice is preferred but not essential If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
