Based in Barrow-in-Furness and with five offices across the Furness Peninsular and South Lakes, we are one of the largest independent solicitors, estate agents and financial service providers in the area. Mortgage Advisor – Barrow/Ulverston - Full Time (part-time considered for the right candidate) We are seeking a Mortgage Advisor to join our client’s team. Starting Basic Salary £30k - £33k (Ongoing reviews on Salary) Plus Generous Commission Structure Plus Generous End Of Year Bonus Full Admin support Regular fully qualified Leads provided Monday – Friday 09:00 – 05:00 1 Saturday per month Hybrid option Full time or Part Time considered No cold calling here, leads will be generated for you through our in house Estate Agency and existing clients with the focus being on giving your clients the best possible service. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on mortgages and related products to both existing and prospective clients, building long- term relationships. Your goal will be to maximise profitability while maintaining the highest standards of client service. About you: You will be client focused – our clients are very important to us. You will be CeMAP qualified You will be able to engage with people from all walks of life, understand their needs effectively to offer them the best advice, ensuring a smooth running and compliant application process. You will be responsible for the performance of the Mortgage Administrator, including conducting performance reviews, so should have the ability to coach and develop others. You should be confident in using all the Microsoft Office suite and have pretty good IT skills so you can keep our systems up to date and get the most out of them. You like working in a team; supporting each other, working together and being flexible helps us to all be successful. So enough about you, what about us?
