Job Description

PE Global is recruiting a Battery Systems Engineer for our world leading multinational manufacturing client based in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12-month contract and the role is hybrid with 3 days onsite p/w. The rate range for this role is £28.94 - £39.28 p/h. Responsibilities: Contribute to the identification of system requirements and their maintenance through projects Manage and maintain risks assessments (DFMEAs), and update a risk reduction glidepath (to production) Create and maintain the system or sub-system level validation plans Develop and maintain battery test procedures Support the management of testbed and in-field validation identified issues Communicate validation information and status to internal and external customers and team members Develop and maintain a keen understanding of internal and external customers' needs Keep up to date on new battery technologies, testing techniques and legislation requirements Requirements: 2 or more years of high voltage battery validation experience with good fundamental battery system knowledge Data analysis skills to assist test sign off and fault-finding issues Proven skills in root cause analysis and issue resolution A passion to grow your validation skills within a friendly, interactive and innovative global engineering team Self-starter with good problem solving and planning skills Ability to react dynamically to changes in priority whilst maintain process discipline Please note PE Global cannot assist with sponsorship, candidates will need a valid visa to live and work within the UK for at least the next 12 months.
