Senior Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Lead the full lifecycle of electronic designs, from concept to production. Schematic & PCB Expertise: Design schematics and perform PCB layout and design for high-speed tracks and RF antennas. BOM Management: Create and maintain comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs). Advanced Design Tools: Utilize Altium Designer for layout of up to 8-layer HDI PCBs. Test & Validation: Design and implement test equipment for rigorous product validation. Mechanical Design: Contribute to basic mechanical hardware design for injection molding POCs. Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain production manuals adhering to ISO9001 standards. Industry Impact: Work on cutting-edge automotive technologies, potentially including audio/video streaming applications. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Qualified NDip or BSc in Electrical Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience in electronic design. Automotive (Advantagoue): Knowledge and experience within the automotive industry preferred. Regulatory Compliance: Experience with CE approval processes is advantageous. Technical Skills (Advantageous): Basic firmware experience for 8 and 32-bit microprocessors. Circuit simulation proficiency using PSpice.
