ABOUT THE TEAM
Our employment services team facilities experiences to help job seekers identify their vocational interests and ideal conditions of employment. They also work with area employers to expand job opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the job seeker and the business community. The Employer Outreach Specialist creates, fosters, and manages relationships with potential and current employees.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
- Seek out new employers with the intention of creating warm leads, customize, and support employment opportunities for people SEEC supports
- Develop relationships with industry and community leaders, including trade organizations, chambers of commerce and civic groups
- Maintain relationships with assigned existing employers, warm leads, and trade groups.
- Conduct and document informational interviews and participate in tours of businesses with potential employers to learn about the businesses, their operations, the business cultures, the work environments, and current or anticipated future opportunities and challenges facing each business.
- Use metric-based tools such as Benefit’s and Needs Analysis to quantify and categorize job potentials, opportunities, and areas of focus
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelors degree required
- Requires a minimum 5 years experience in business development, business ownership, Business to Business Sales or network building
- Have strong ability to network and maintain business relationships
- Familiarity or willingness to become familiar with customizing employment, recruiting, workforce development and business analytics
