Licensed Land Surveyor - Relocation assistance available

Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced and licensed Land Surveyor. Our client is a growing multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm that has been serving their clients for 4 decades. They are a full service architectural/engineering firm with seven locations in New York State.

This position will report to the Director of Land Surveying.

This position will primarily be an office role (Rochester) assisting/mentoring with field work as needed.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Mentoring staff
• Managing field crew’s schedule
• Prepping scope documents and other information for field crews
• Assisting with project management / project estimating
• Technical survey duties (adjustments, mapping, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Surveyor License required - if not NY must be willing to obtain a NY license
• 8+ years’ experience with Engineering/Land Survey Firm
• Must have in-depth experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD / Civil 3d
• Experience with NYSDOT survey procedures, a plus
• Experience with sUAS, a plus
• Experience with terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, a plus
• The candidate must work well in a team environment

$95,000 - $120,000
