We are seeking a skilled and motivated Director of Operations to help us scale our operations, optimize workflows, and enhance the patient experience.
Position Summary:
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the operational functions of the practice to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and streamlined business practices. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare administration, preferably within cosmetic or plastic surgery, and will be adept at leading teams, managing budgets, and implementing best practices across all operational aspects of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows and a consistent, high-quality patient experience.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures, aligning them with the practice’s goals and compliance requirements.
- Identify and address bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement across all departments.
Staff Management and Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled team, including front-office staff, nurses, administrative personnel, and other key members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivated workplace culture.
Financial Management
- Collaborate with the CEO to manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability.
- Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations to support revenue growth.
- Partner with the Patient Care Coordinator to reduce Accounts Receivables and maintain a zero balance every 30 days.
Patient Experience Optimization
- Ensure a patient-centered approach across all touch points, from initial inquiry through post-procedure follow-up.
- Implement processes that enhance patient satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee patient scheduling, consultations, and billing processes to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure that the practice complies with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards for patient safety and confidentiality.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee facility management to ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for patients and staff.
Strategic Growth and Business Development
- Identify opportunities for growth, including expanding service offerings, enhancing marketing efforts, and increasing patient volume.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team to enhance brand presence and attract new patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and senior management on strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in healthcare operations management, ideally within a cosmetic, plastic surgery, or specialty medical practice.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, financial management, and patient care standards.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven track record in process improvement, team development, and revenue growth.
- Proficiency in healthcare software and EMR systems (e.g., Nextech, eClinicalWorks).
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of accomplishing 90 day goals for an organization.
- Experience with EOS is a plus but not required.

- Salary range $85,000 - $100,000
