General Counsel

I'm partnered with a renewable energy IPP focused on adding a tenured legal executive.

In this role, you would be providing legal counsel on various issues from complex renewable energy transactions to real estate, litigations and general corporate matters.

Responsibilities -

• Provide legal support to renewable energy transactions - M&A, Project Financings, EPC Contracts, and PPAs
• Partner and support EPC teams on matters regarding procurement activities - lead negotiations
• Manage outside counsels where needed - particularly regarding litigation matters
• Support the general management of the legal team. You will be the number two lawyer in this team, and will be expected to support the management of tenured and junior attorneys.

Requirements -

• 10+ years practicing law, with at least 5 working in a renewable energy law firm practice group, or in-house legal team
• Licensed to Practice law in at least one US State, plus the ability to register as in-house counsel in California
• Strong leadership, managerial, communication and collaboration skill.
